Aspiring Occupational Therapist | Outdoor Enthusiast | Movie Buff
I’m a fourth-year Kinesiology student majoring in Adapted Physical Activity, with a strong interest in pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist. My current interests lie in pediatric Occupational Therapy, as I appreciate the more creative approach to treatment that is necessary within a population with communication differences, as well as the ability to incorporate play in a functional capacity to facilitate and improve movement.
When I'm not studying or on campus, you'll likely find me outside. Hiking is a favourite pastime, whether that's a day trip out to the Alberta Rockies or a longer backpacking trip somewhere in British Columbia. Nature has a way of grounding me that nothing else quite replicates.
On a chill night, I usually watch movies. I love the full spectrum of film: North American, foreign, indie, classic. I’m a firm believer that cinema is one of the most unique art forms we have, as it allows us to step into someone else's shoes. After a film, I love debriefing with whoever I watched it with, and then putting my thoughts into a review on Letterboxd. You can usually find me catching something new down at the Metro Cinema in Garneau.
