There’s no doubt about it: Dr. Bronwen’s list of interests is broad. If she could merge the horse jumping and the circus, she would be snapped up by Cirque du Soleil or some kind of spy organization. But that would be our loss, because those same broad interests, including her atypical aspiration to the aerial arts, are based on the same kinds of thinking, skills and curiosity that make Bronwen a force in the treatment room. She juggles multiple modalities to help get people really better, fast. She exercises her significant training and knowledge to meet people’s health needs as they need; she beholds the stories that people’s lives and hearts are telling to get to the root of what’s going on. When you walk into the clinic, you know that your life is safe in her hands; as you swing from experience to experience in your life, she is there to catch you.
It’s no wonder, then, that Dr. Bronwen felt inspired to create Revive Whole Body Health. It’s a place of care and healing. Whole-body healing – not just band-aid kind of stuff. A place where a team of highly-skilled therapists work together to provide a variety of treatments to make One Whole Healthy You.
Dr. Bronwen graduated cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2006, valedictorian of her class. She is full-body certified in Active Release Technique®(ART), Graston Technique®, and has also received the designation of Certified Acupuncturist. From infancy to the elderly, she believes that optimizing natural function and movement benefits us all, and feels honored to treat people in whatever stage they’re in along the way.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Bronwen is strongly committed to expanding her skills in all areas of her practice. Gentle and effective manual therapies, specifically, caught her attention early on and have since become a focus. She has studied CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute and is currently working towards her Visceral Manipulation and Neural Manipulation Certification through the Barral Institute.
When assessing and treating, Dr. Bronwen draws on her knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, visceral and fascial modalities. Her treatment techniques include: light and deep myofascial release, ART®, spinal/joint manipulation, visceral and neural manipulation, acupuncture, and movement retraining. Dr. Bronwen’s heart-centered and integrated approach to patient care – a perfect blend of extensive science-based training, natural intuition and listening skills – results in measurable and lasting improvements in the health of those she treats.
If she’s not at the clinic flying through treatment rooms with the greatest of ease, Dr. Bronwen is at home enjoying family and friends, playing the piano and cooking up a storm. She stays active by lifting weights, boxing and riding her bike. Her passion to try new things carries into her downtime; Dr. Bronwen has taken up photography, plans to learn Italian and is currently trying her hand at – see titles at top – equestrianism.
