Foodie Fanatic, French Horn Virtuoso
Alicia graduated from the University of Alberta in 2022 with a Bachelor of Music with Distinction, majoring in French Horn Performance. Music has been a part of Alicia’s life for as long as she can remember. She learned piano growing up and continues to play as well as teach, but she picked up the french horn in junior high band and has stuck with it, falling for how its sound feels so close to that of the human voice – so moving, powerful, and clear. Studying music has shown her the importance of diligent, detail-oriented work whether performing solo, in an ensemble, or working on a team.
Music is more than a means of expression to Alicia, it’s also a way to connect with others and to share something with them, to brighten their day. She hopes to be able to spread that positivity while working at Revive too, by giving each patient the best experience possible. This is hard to miss when you see her at Revive and it is clear that she loves connecting with our patients while at work! Lucky for all of us.
Alicia also loves to cook and eat delicious food, loves all things cozy (ex: a puzzle, a fuzzy blanket, and a warm drink make up her perfect afternoon!), and occasionally does a bit of watercolour painting. She’s always looking to learn something new or pick up a new hobby.
