Kristine is one of those people who’s always on the move, and somehow – just being around her – makes you want to join in, certain you’ll have the time of your life. Whether she’s running the trails or practicing her headstands (she WILL get them one day!) or carting her three kids to their various sport and art activities, she’s going full speed. She understands the energy all of life’s activities take … as well as the pain that can come after. Real-life qualifications for a physiotherapist. Oh, and she’s got tons of education, amazing healing hands and loads of clinical experience too.

Kristine completed her BscPT (Honours) in Physical Therapy in 1999 at the University of Alberta. She’s certified in medical acupuncture and the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions (including pre- and post-natal care and treatment of diastasis recti). Believing in life-long learning, Kristine has also taken a variety of post-graduate courses in orthopedics, and in 2009, completed the Discover Physio Series (with both Diane Lee and LJ Lee). This taught her an evidence-based integrated approach to assess and treat her clients’ pain and dysfunction. In 2019 Kristine became the first physiotherapist in Alberta to be an Integrated Systems Model (ISM) Certified Practitioner. Also in 2019 Kristine became certified to order diagnostic imaging for her clients. She has also been exploring yoga therapy and integrating yoga in rehabilitation, and has completed coursework with both Susi Hatley and Shelley Prosko to increase her learning and knowledge of yoga in Physical Therapy practice.

Kristine has worked in both private and public facilities. Along the way, she found her passion when she discovered the impact she could have using different manual therapies. She’s keen to work one-one-one with her clients to not only treat their pain but also discover the root of their problem and create strategies for pain-free efficient movement.

When she’s not at work or behind the wheel of her car with a handful of kids in tow, Kristine has fun biking, running, practicing yoga, and playing in the great outdoors. She is involved in Rotary International and Youth Exchange Program and loves to study people and cultures and the interconnectedness in us all. Her favourite people of the smaller variety are her children, who constantly entertain her and remind her to look at the world with open eyes.

Kristine is excited to be a part of the incredible team at Revive Whole Body Health!
