Alicia is currently in the second year of her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Alberta, studying the French horn primarily. Music has been a part of Alicia’s life for as long as she can remember. She learned piano growing up and continues to play, but she picked up the French horn in junior high band and has stuck with it, falling for how its sound feels so close to that of the human voice – so moving, powerful, and clear.
Music is more than a means of expression to Alicia, it’s also a way to connect with others and to share something with them, to brighten their day. She hopes to be able to spread that positivity while working at Revive too, by giving each patient the best experience possible. This is hard to miss when you see her at Revive and it is clear that she loves connecting with our patients while at work! Lucky for all of us.
Alicia also loves to cook for her family, eat delicious food and take her dog for walks along the Sturgeon, and occasionally does a bit of painting.
